Set Up Meeting

Setting up a meeting

1. Setup. Enter a title for the meeting or event, an optional agenda or purpose, and whether it is Online or In Person.
2. Invitees. Under Track responses, choose what to collect from each invitee. Name and Email are included. Press + on Organisation or Custom Field to add them. Each field then gets its own row:
   • Choose, Choose or type, or Type. Choose means invitees pick from a list you set, using Add Option. Choose or type adds "Not listed — enter your own" to that list. Type means they type their own answer.
   • Required. Invitees must fill the field in before they can respond.
   • Track. Shows who on your list hasn't responded yet, on the Manage page and under the results grid. The update email lists them too, but it can only reach people who have responded, because that is when their email address is stored.
   • Use once. Each option can be picked by only one invitee, and shows as "✓ Already chosen" once it has been. An invitee changes their answer through the link in the confirmation email they get after answering. When you add or change dates, names become available again so invitees can answer the new ones.
   • Every field can be edited or removed, including Name and Email. Drag the handle on the left to reorder fields, and press × to remove one. On a phone the handle is not shown, so fields can't be reordered there. Once a poll has responses, existing options can't be changed or removed, but you can still add new ones.
3. Message. Add an optional note for participants, for example "Please select the times you are available."
4. Meeting options. Set the length in hours and minutes, or choose All-Day. Choose the host time zone, then click days in the calendar to add them as options.
5. Create Poll. Press Create Poll to save it, or Invite Participants to send it out.
