Setting up a session

Whether participants answer in their own time, or together in a session you lead.

Options

Self-paced (default) · Live

What it changes

• In results and exports: In a live session, answers count as they are given.

What each choice means

• Self-paced: Participants answer at their own pace, from a link, code or QR code.
• Live: You lead it from a stage and participants follow the slide you show. The question list adds Whiteboard and Brainstorming, and the manage page offers Start Live Session.

Good to know

• Only for a group session: hidden while Respondent(s) is Individual.
• Not on an assessment.
• Not on Event Feedback.
• Not on an availability poll.
• Read-only once the session has a response.
• Self-paced is refused while the session has a Whiteboard or Brainstorming question.
• While Live, Introduction Page is the lobby's text.
• Workshop / Conference starts on Live and hides it.
