Setting up a session

Whether a survey is one list of questions or several sections.

Options

Simple (default) · Multi-section

What each choice means

• Simple: One list of questions.
• Multi-section: Sections, each ranking items, asking questions or a quiz. Participants see "Section N of M".

Good to know

• On a survey only.
• Read-only once the session has a response, unless it is live. In a series, read-only once any session of the series has one.
• Switching keeps what you typed. Question sections become the simple list; ranking and quiz sections are kept until you save as Simple, which drops them.
